Feeling at home...

During these past 2 weeks Shar has been able to get all her documents

finally complete..so we are finally feeling at home.

We were able to do a little sightseeing...

Shar was able to go to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque on a field trip..the beautiful mosque
which we can see from our flat..

We also attended the Qasr al Hosn Festival. Qasr is the Arabic word for palace

and Hosn means fort. The fort was built more than 250 years ago and was home to the royal family. It is still in its original spot, but now is surrounded by city instead of the desert...

AD Golf Championship

Weather here is beautiful! It is perfect weather to be outside for a walk, dinner, coffee, drink...enjoying it while we can because it will get super hot soon enough. We have never been to a golf tournament before and it was really nice to be outside...and get a bunch of free stuffs! Oh and the golf was nice too!

Church is nice, we really enjoy the music and fellowship at www.cornerstoneabudhabi.com. 

We are also focused on work-we get paid the big bucks but the demands are higher here. So we are trying to find the right balance of earning our pay but not working too much. As we know the Lord has a call to ministry for us, and we have been preparing for that. We still do not know how to proceed with that calling so we have been focusing on fixing our faults and taking in as much spiritual knowledge as possible for when He does call.
