England and then Home... : (

Our last stop on our adventure was England where we were very fortunate to stay with the incredible Hosannah Family. We ended on a very good note..we had great weather and we were able to see so much. We got to see all the major sights in London and a highlight was seeing a Shakespearean play at the Globe Theatre. We also went on a day trip to Windsor Castle, Bathe, and Stonehenge. A special thank you to the Hosannah family for your hospitality and kindness.

It may seem that The SharOb Experience has come to an end..but it has only just begun. Nonetheless, we want to first take a moment to thank and praise God for going before us this whole trip. He always provided and paved the way for us. Secondly (as a result), we want to thank everyone who helped us plan, opened up their home, provided food, or just spent some time with us crazy travel fiends. Lastly, we would like to thank all those who commented on our posts, we really enjoyed reading them all. For all of our new foreign friends, we invite you to continue to check this blog, we will keep posting. We hope to be on a new experience soon....so until then we leave you with our late dog, Muneca, who is looking up at us from below...

Last Stop-Amsterdam

Our final leg brought us to Europe's 'sin city', Amsterdam. The city left us with mixed emotions because the city itself is quite beautiful but it is polluted with anything and everything. We started out in Edam with a relaxing bike ride in the Dutch countryside. From there we went to a clog and then CHEESE demonstration and loaded up on some famous Edam cheese. Then we made our way into the city and went to the Anne Frank Museum. We highly recommend that you visit this museum; any explanation would not do it justice. Check out this website: http://www.annefranktree.com/?viewleaf=jahwarrior303@aim.com

Then we spent the rest of the afternoon walking around...getting a feel for the place. Our evening was spent with the group on our final dinner which was at an Asian Fusion restaurant!! The following day we made our way back to London and spent one last night out with the group. This leaves us with one final week, and thanks to the famous Talisman Group, we are staying with the lovely Hosannah family.

Switzerland

We had the most amazing time in Swiss...first we went to Luzern and spent the afternoon there enjoying the lake via a paddleboat. From there we went to the most amazing campsite in the world in Lauterbrunnen. It is in a valley surrounded by mountains that re lined with waterfalls. We spent the next day checking out the waterfalls (Trummelbach Falls), biking, relaxing, and eating CHEESE!! Good relaxing time...we are so blessed to be able to return to swiss

Czech Republic and Munich

People, go to the Czech Republic!!! Not only is it one of the cheaper areas of europe but it is beautiful. Even beer is cheaper than water!!! We stopped in Cesky Krumlov for a lovely lunch and picture stop and then moved on to Prague. We had 2 full days to explore the city and did we make the most of it. What is unique about this city is that even with its large jewish population it still managed to be spared of the Nazi destruction. We got to go up to the castle, visit several baroque/romanesque cathedrals, see the historic jewish quarter (that is a picture of a jewish cementary), the main square with world famous astronomical clock, watch the sunset over the river that cuts right thru town, experience our first ONE stop 'pub-crawl', and had the best and cheapest beer of our whole trip. From there we went to Munich in Germany and spent the afternoon in the city before going to the famous Munchner Haupt Beer Hall for dinner...quite an experience, lots of pork knuckle and steins. We would also like to thank everyone for their help in finding accommodations for London. Thank you Mr. Saldanha/Dad for arranging a place. See ya soon...
check out who we saw in Prague!
