Croatia, Budapest and Vienna

We spent three days in the Croatian city of Dubrovinik. We got plenty of sun and beaches as well as visting the amazing old walled city area. From there we passed thru Zadar for a night and then went to the capital of Hungary, Budapest. It was a relaxing day of walking around and at night we went on a dinner river cruise. We had a feast and watched the sunset over the Danube river. Then it was on to Vienna, where we just finished another day of sightseeing. We got to the the famous Hofburg palace as well as the renowned Spanish Winter Riding School. We also went to a schnapps museum where we got to try ALL sorts of schnapps liquors and liquers. Tomorrow it is off to Prague, our final three-night stop. Our trip is truely coming to a close, we only have to pitch our tent 5 more times!!! We intend to make the most of these remaining weeks and would appreciate it if someone has an accommodation hookup in London. We will be there for a week starting the 6th of June. Thanks

Turkey to Albania

Today marks the final 2 weeks of our camping adventure and since our last post, we have visited quite a bit of Eastern Europe - Turkey, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, and we are currently in the beautiful country of Croatia. Passing through these countries makes one really appreciate what you have regardless of your circumstances. Although our trip is coming to an end, we are looking forward to what God has planned for next - cause we know there has to be more travelling involved!

We're campers...that's how we roll...

So..we are half way through our tour. We have been to 8 countries so far and currently are in Turkey. We arrived here from Athens after getting a little time to relax in the Greek island of Corfu. Camping has its ups and downs but definately more ups. Plus in this short time we already have made some good friends and have seen and eaten plenty. For the last couple nights we have been staying in hotels...thus sleeping on a PROPER BED!!! Here are pictures of some of the main countries/cities we have been to...see if you can guess them all. They are: Paris, Barcelona, Monaco, Venice, Pisa, Rome, Corfu, and Athens. Talk to you soon, keep us in your prayers.

Switzerland

Before our tour started, we visited Shar's cousins -Sonya and Stefan in Zurich. We got the opportunity to relax with family at their lake/mountain side home and taste a lot of the local food - CHEESE!!! AND...guess what??

Yes, we got to go to yet another soccer game!!! Stefan's home team Basel FC beat Thank you to Sonya and Stefan for EVERYTHING. Here are some pics.

For now...

Just wanted to let all our avid readers know that we have not forgot about you. We started our 46 day camping tour about 1.5 weeks ago and already have been to 5 countries. However our constant moving and staying in camping sites makes internet hard to come by. But as Contiki says, "we are campers and thats how we roll!!"
Physically we are doing very well and enjoying every moment. Please keep us in your prayers...talk to you soon
